 Million Dollar micro needling is used to treat and improve conditions like acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, loose skin, skin texture, pore size, brown spots and pigment issues.  Please note the following are contraindications: 

• Under the age of 18years
• Pregnancy/ Breastfeeding
• Irritated skins - Sunburn, sores and lesions
• Skin conditions I.e. Eczema and Psoriasis
• Prescription medication to treat skin conditions I.e. Roaccutane - wait 12 months
• Localised Skin infections I.e. Herpes simplex
• Keloidal/Hypertrophic Scarring
• Blood clotting Diseases/Blood disorders
• Blood thinning medication
• Diabetes - GP dependent
• High Blood pressure/ heart disease - GP dependent
• Skin Cancer/Undergoing cancer treatment I.e. Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy
• Auto Immune Diseases – GP dependent
• Usage of retinols/Vitamin A derivatives
• Scleroderma

Pre-Treatment:

• Please let your skincare specialist know if you are on any medication (topical and/ or oral, have any medical conditions, or are being treated by a physician for any conditions.
• Let your skincare specialist know if you have been diagnosed with cold sores or herpes simplex or if you are prone to keloid scarring.
• No shaving, laser treatment, peels, waxing, or aggressive exfoliations one week prior to treatments
• If using retinol or products containing AHA's & BHA's please advise your platinum technician prior to treatment.

After Care:

• SPF 50 
• No swimming for 7 days
• No excessive exercise, heat treatments or make up for 48 hours
• No exfoliation for 7 days
• No other facial treatments for 2 weeks
• Avoid products such as retinol for 7 days before or after
• Stay well hydrated
• Keep up with moisturising to avoid dry skin.
• Please be aware redness will subside after 24 to 48 hours

You can have micro needling as often as every 2 - 4 weeks. 

Skin needling should not be painful however you may find it slightly uncomfortable depending on pain threshold.
